Miss Primrose-Dell is a beautiful Chiltern bear dating to C1930 she measures approximately 25" in height.
She has a wonderful coverage all over of light golden coloured mohair with no real signs of loss or thinning.
This beautiful bear is a five-way jointed old bear and all her joints turn and move well for her.
Miss Primrose-Dell has her original nose and mouth stitching . She has lost the outer longer stitch from the left side of her nose. Her clear glass eyes are later replacements but suit her perfectly.
She is firmly stuffed from head to paw with woodwool and she has a working growler that works when she is picked up and tilted.
On both paws where the material meets the mohair at the wrist some neat little repairs and stitches have been added but this is not worrying or detrimental.
She has retained all of her black claw stitches to both paws and feet.
Miss Primrose-Dell has been whispering her wishes in the woods to the fairies that she longs to find a loving home again so she is ever hopeful that her wish will come true.
Should you like to make her wish come true she comes dressed in her Antique white long gown with pretty antique style pendant around her neck, white tulle head bow and pretty green fluffy boah.

He served for King country and family in the Great Bear War for sure but thankfully is still here to share all the old tales with us all should we ask him that is!
Corporal Archie is a Wonderful Old character bear full of charm and helplessness in his looks and perhaps a pinch of hopefulness too !
He dates to Pre 1930 for certain and its more than likely he is before 1920 too.
Corporal Archie measures a slumpy 15" in height and most of his slumpiness is credited to the fact that his wood wool that he is stuffed with throughout has shifted and settled in other parts lower down in his body and limbs but we love this as this just adds to his charm dont you agree?
As to Coporal Archie's country of birth we believe that it is probably Germany or America but we err more towards him being American presently as he has certain traits that deliver us this way for example his ears are set into slits at the top of his head and he has horizontal nose stitching with just a few stitches made which is another characteristic for American bears and his muzzle is quite blunt and rounded but we could be totally wrong here he could indeed be a English bear as even some early English bears are found with their ears cut into slits on top of their heads
His arms are somewhat floppy and saggy at the tops of them where the wood has shifted and settled further down probably due to the way in which he was carried about over the years.
All of his paw pads have been neatly recovered in leather many moons ago bless him!
Corporal Archis is presently looking for a loving home for Old soldiers to retire to and should you have loving home for him and a place in your heart he comes dressed in his Old Soldiers knitted vest that he used to wear in the trenches to help keep him warm on a cold night!
Also pinned to his vest is a WW1 style pin and a fragment of a French flag that he kept as a souvenir !
He will also bring along with him his WW1 Bamforth song card entitled "WHEN YOU COME HOME" and his special Once upon a time bears 'Causality of War' tag for you to fill in for him on his behalf !
